Urinary Dry

Veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of cats with specific clinical conditions and are recommended to be used under veterinary advice. For more information on feeding Urinary to your cat, please consult your veterinary surgeon.

Urinary is for the nutritional management of:

- Dissolution of struvite uroliths

- Prevention of recurrence of struvite urolithiasis

- Management of calcium oxalate urolithiasis

Note: In cases of recurrent idiopathic cystitis,Urinary Wet is recommended.

Not recommended in cases of:

- Pregnancy, lactation, growth

- Chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis

- Heart failure

- Hypertension

- Use of urine-acidifying drugs

Feline Urinary Dry Food

Urinary S/O Feline effectively dissolves struvite stones.
	Increasing the volume of urine simultaneously reduces the saturation of urine with both calcium oxalate and struvite so that this diet produces a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
	Undersaturated urine is an environment where crystals cannot proliferate. Thus the urine is unfavourable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
	Glycosaminoglycans (GAG) that are naturally found on the healthy bladder mucosa are reduced in idiopathic cystitis. This reduction, responsible for increased bladder permeability to microorganisms, toxins and ions, results in stimulation of pain-sensitive receptors.
