Oral Bar

Dental Bars are for the nutritional management of:

- Daily nutritional supplement to promote oral hygiene in dogs over 10 kg

- Limits the development of dental plaque and tartar

- Helps fight bad breath

Oral Bar Large Dog

When chewed, the special very elastic texture of Oral Bar has a mild abrasive effect which breaks the biofilm (entangled bacteria) structure of dental plaque, helps remove tartar deposits and delays formation of new deposits.
	Sodium polyphosphate is a chelating agent that makes calcium ions (Ca++) unavailable for tartar formation. Because of its highly hydrophilic nature, polyphosphate can spread through the whole oral cavity, including areas that are not in physical contact with Oral Bar during mastication. Zinc facilitates calcium dissolution and slows down its incorporation into tartar.
	Bad breath is the result of bacteria produced Volatile Sulphur Compounds (V.S.C.). Ingredients in Oral Bar (zinc, eucalyptus and green tea polyphenols) reduce the production of Volatile Sulphur Compounds (V.S.C.).
