Satiety Support

Satiety Support is for the nutritional management of:

- Obesity

- Diabetes mellitus (normal weight or overweight dog)

- Constipation

- Fibre-responsive colitis

- Hyperlipidaemia associated with excess weight

Not recommended in cases of:

- Pregnancy, lactation, growth

- Chronic diseases requiring an increased energy intake

	A high protein content (>110g/1000kcal DM) helps reduce loss of muscle mass by 30%, reduces net energy intake by 30%, increases palatability of the diet and helps give a feeling of satiety.
	The high soluble fibre content increases the volume of stomach contents and promotes satiety (reducing the feeling of hunger) by delaying stomach emptying. Soluble fibre slows the release of insulin into the bloodstream.
	The high mineral and vitamin concentration compensates for the effect of energy restriction ensuring an appropriate nutritional supply.
	Chondroitin Sulphate & Glucosamine help to maintain normal mobility in the highly stressed joints of obese pets.
