Urinary Wet

Veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of cats with specific clinical conditions and are recommended to be used under veterinary advice. For more information on feeding Urinary Wet to your cat, please consult your veterinary surgeon.

Urinary Wet is for the nutritional management of:

- Feline idiopathic cystitis

- Dissolution of struvite uroliths

- Management of recurrent struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis using a single diet

Not recommended in cases of:

- Pregnancy, lactation, growth

- Chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis

- Heart failure

- Hypertension

- Use of urine-acidifying drugs

Feline Urinary Wet Food

Almost 64% of cases of FLUTD* are caused by idiopathic cystitis. Clinical trials have shown significant reduction of recurrence of idiopathic cystitis in those cats maintained on Urinary S/O Feline wet diet.
	Urinary S/O Feline effectively dissolves struvite uroliths.
	Undersaturated urine is an environment where crystals cannot proliferate. Thus the urine is unfavourable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
	Glycosaminoglycans (GAG) that are naturally found on the healthy bladder mucosa are reduced in idiopathic cystitis. This reduction, responsible for increased bladder permeability to microorganisms, toxins and ions, results in stimulation of pain-sensitive receptors.
