Weight Control is for the nutritional management of:
- Weight maintenance followed by a weight loss programme
- Dogs that are prone to obesity
- Diabetes mellitus
- Hyperlipidaemia linked to overweight
- Colltis
- Constipation
Not recommended in cases of:
- Pregnancy, lactation, growth
- Chronic diseases that require an increased energy intake
Natural extracts from Garcinia Cambodgia and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) limit the development of adipose tissue (lipogenesis).
Action of psyllium mucilages reduces postpandrial hyperglycaemia. Mixing cereals of low glycaemic index (barley, corn) in conjunction with the gelling action of psyllium mucilages reduces postprandial hyperglycaemia.
